Cookie Policy

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites function properly, improve performance, and provide information to the site owner. Cookies can be session-based (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent (stored for a set period).
Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which work in the same way but store data directly in your browser rather than sending it to a server on every request.
How FundedNotes uses cookies
FundedNotes uses cookies and browser storage to keep your account secure, maintain your session, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used so we can continue improving it.
We do not use cookies to serve advertising, track you across third-party websites, or sell your data. We only use the types of cookies described below.
Necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for FundedNotes to work correctly. They cannot be disabled. They support:
- Account login and authentication (powered by Supabase)
- Maintaining your secure session while you use the dashboard
- Access to paid features based on your subscription plan
- Billing and subscription status checks
- User preference storage (currency, timezone, display settings)
- Security tokens and CSRF protection
Analytics cookies
If you have opted in, analytics cookies help us understand how FundedNotes is used — for example, which pages are visited most, how users navigate the dashboard, and where performance improvements are needed.
Analytics data is used solely to improve FundedNotes. It is not shared with advertising networks. You can opt out at any time via Settings → Privacy & Cookies.
Marketing cookies
Marketing cookies are optional and are currently not active on FundedNotes. If FundedNotes adds marketing or retargeting tools in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before enabling them. They are off by default unless you choose to accept all cookies.
Managing your preferences
You can update your cookie preferences at any time by going to Settings → Privacy & Cookies inside your FundedNotes dashboard. You can also clear your preferences by clearing your browser's local storage.
Note that disabling necessary cookies will prevent you from being able to use FundedNotes, as they are required for login and session management.
Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as our use of technology changes. We will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page when we do. If we make significant changes, we may also notify you via the FundedNotes dashboard.
